It is used when a very stiff product with high tensile and compressive strength (both greater than steel) is required. It has weak shear strength and is not impact resistant. It is best used, when making parts that need to be light weight but are under high stress. It is more expensive than cloth, but replaces several layers of cloth in terms of strength. When well done, the finished product makes a beautiful looking part such as a car hood. Use only with epoxy resins. This item is sold by the linear yard. Multiple yards up to 50yds will be cut as one length. -

Non Glare acrylic has a very fine matte finish to reduce glare. Viewed straight on against a photo or artwork this finish become almost unnooticeale however it may be more pronounced from other angles. -

A general purpose polyester (fiberglass) resin. Our resins are purchased direct from major reputable suppliers and are consistent in quality and performance. Unwaxed resin remains a bit tacky on the side exposed to air. This is fine when adding more layers as you avoid sanding. Air Dry additive can be added to unwaxed resin to make it waxed.
