A general purpose polyester (fiberglass) resin. Our resins are purchased direct from major reputable suppliers and are consistent in quality and performance. Unwaxed resin remains a bit tacky on the side exposed to air. This is fine when adding more layers as you avoid sanding. Air Dry additive can be added to unwaxed resin to make it waxed. IPS's Weld-On #1707 is an ABS only solvent cement with a medium syrup consistency. It is a fast set cement and dries milky translucent. 80% of the ultimate bond strength is reached after about 24 hours. -
